Halloween Envelope Treat Box

Halloween is just around the corner, and what better way to celebrate this spooktacular holiday than by crafting your very own treat boxes? In this blog post, I’ll show you how to use the Pick of the Patch bundle, Zoo Crew DSP and the Envelope Treat Boxes to create an awesome Halloween box!

The Envelope Treat Boxes are so cool. They come scored and have adhesive attached so all you have to do is decorate them and put them together. They’re designed to look and fold just like an envelope—they even come with gold foil stickers for sealing!

For our Halloween-themed treat box, I’ve chosen the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper with its striking black and white stripes. Measure and cut the paper to fit the sides of your treat box. Adhere the paper to the box, and you’ll instantly transform it into a Halloween masterpiece. The inside piece measures 3½” by 2¼”.

For the belly band, cut a piece of the Zoo Crew DSP to 3¼” by 9″ . I added a bit of Stampin Seal to it and wrapped it around the closed Treat Box. After you get the basic shape, you can then burnish the lines to make the band more sturdy.

Using the Pick of the Patch bundle, which includes a stamp set and punch, I created a jack-o’-lantern. Stamp the pumpkin image onto a piece of white cardstock in Pumpkin Pie ink and punch it out using the coordinating punch. This will be the focal point of your treat box.

The sentiment is stamped in Pumpkin Pie on a piece of Basic White that measures ¾” by 1½” . I then layered it onto a piece of Basic Black that is ¼” larger. I then added a few Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems for some bling.

Now that your treat box is beautifully decorated, it’s time to fill it with Halloween treats! Whether you prefer candy, mini chocolates, or even small toys, this box is the perfect vessel for delighting trick-or-treaters.

I hope you enjoyed this project and choose to make something fun for the little goblins in your life. Happy Stamping!
