Serene Birthday Wishes with Waterside Retreat

There is something so peaceful about a lakeside view, and the Waterside Retreat bundle captures that feeling perfectly. This week, I’ve been diving into these new products to create designs that celebrate quiet, creative moments.

Today’s project features a calm, coastal vibe that is perfect for a masculine birthday or anyone who loves a day by the water.

To create this look, I started with a base of Lost Lagoon ink and paired it with the beautiful patterns found in the Waterside Retreat Designer Series Paper. The focal point is the Adirondack chair, which adds a great touch of texture and dimension.

How to Assemble the Focal Point
•Build the Chair: Die cut the curved back, chair base, and armrests from Basic White cardstock. Assemble the chair by gluing all pieces together.
•Create the Cattails: Die cut four cattails from Basic White cardstock. Use your Pecan Pie and Old Olive Blends to give them a natural, colorful look.
•I added a sentiment die-cut with the Nested Essentials dies and added in a Loose Anchor Trinket to complete the nautical theme.
