Stamp It Group Mother’s Day Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Stamp It Group Mother’s Day Blog Hop! I’m Sarah McGuire and you’re on my blog, SassyPaperCrafts. Whether you’ve just landed on my blog or you’re coming by from another welcome!
Take a look at my Mother’s Day project below and then continue on the hop by clicking the next name on the list. Happy hopping!

My project today uses the Color & Contour stamp set and coordinating Scalloped Contours Dies. I love the sentiment from the stamp set. It let’s mom know that she is absolutely amazing!
I chose to make this card in 2 different colors. Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight. I picked colors from the Brights collection as I wanted vibrant colors. Feel free to remake this card using any color you’d like!

I die cut 3 scalloped rectangles from the Scalloped Contours Die set. One with colored cardstock and two in Basic White. I added the speckles using one of the stamps from the set.
I stamped the inside of the card (not shown) with a “happy mother’s day” stamp from the Flowering Tulips stamp set. I also added a small strip of coordinating Designer Series Paper to the inside.

It’s hard to photograph, but if you look really close, you’ll see the flowers sparkle a bit. I went over them using the Wink Of Stella glitter brush. It’s a mess free way to add a bit of dazzle to your projects! You can see all the supplies I used on these cards down below.

I hope you enjoyed my mother’s day project. Be sure to leave a comment below to be entered in our giveaway for the Birthday Card Organizer Kit!

Congratulations to last month’s winner Phyllis Sinclair who won the Classic Letters stamp set!

I don’t know which card I love more!

I did not know there was a speckle stamp! I thought you were doing the splatter technique. I like that because it’s more controlled and you can place it where you want it to go. And adding wink of stella should be mandatory. 😉 I love your cards and love that you showed several color variations! Neat!
