Sweet As A Peach Card

This card is a fun one! Make sure your recipients day is as sweet as a peach using the You’re A Peach Suite from Stampin’ Up!

You’re A Peach Suite

The You’re A Peach Suite is retiring May 2nd and this is one I don’t want you to miss out on! This Suite is great for all kinds of projects and occasions. And did you see those mini jam jars? How cute!

To start this card, I gathered my supplies. You can see the full list of products used at the bottom of this post. The measurements for this card are:

  • Thick Basic White card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • You’re A Peach DSP- 5¼” by 5″
  • Dsp for die cutting
  • Basic white scraps

I went with the Scalloped Contours Dies to die cut a piece of the You’re A Peach DSP. I then stamped a peach in Pale Papaya. I used a sponge dauber to color around the edges with Calypso Coral then stamped into Basic White cardstock.

You can see this technique in action here:

I did a tiny bit of heat embossing with the sentiment but you could definitely use dark ink like Soft Suede instead.

To finish the project, I chose some of the retiring Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins (which are also retiring). To see all the available retiring items, click the button below. Note: these items are only available while supplies last!

I hope you enjoyed my card today! Be sure to check out all the things down below and leave a comment on this post using the hashtag sassycontest for a chance to win a roll of Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon! 😀

Last week’s winner of the Waves of the Ocean DSP was Lynda Hauser! Congratulations!
