My project today is a fun fold gift card holder, perfect for a last minute gift! I always keep a few of these around just in case I need a quick gift.

To start, I cut and scored my cardstock. The measurements are below.

  • Real Red Card Base- 4¼” by 11″ scored at 2¾” AND 5½”
  • Wonder of the Season DSP- 5¼” by 4″
  • Heartwarming Hugs DSP(2)- 4″ by 2½”
  • Red Foil Sheet (2)- 3¼” by 2 ½”
  • Whisper White (2)- 3″ by 2¼

I decided I wanted to “hide” the panel you’d write on so that’s why there are 2 Whisper White and red foil sheet pieces.

I used a bone folder to crisp my score line on my card base and I added my designer series paper. Before gluing the pocket down, I punch cut a half circle with the 2″ Circle Punch.

I adhered my “pocket” with tear and tape, putting it on the right side (the 5½” score line). I then added my 2 Whisper White panels to the foil sheets using Seal+. When you add you panel to the front of the card, make sure you only put adhesive on the left side so it doesn’t stick to the inside of your card!

To decorate the front, I used the Wishes and Wonder Bundle from the Aug-Dec Mini Catalog. I LOVE this deer! I stamped my sentiment in Real Red and then die cut it using the dies from the bundle. I added some gorgeous Wonderful Gems.

Here’s what the card looks like standing up. I love it!

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my project. Be sure to continue hopping by clicking on the names below.
