A Cozy Handmade Card with the Hobby Haven Suite

I’ve been having so much fun playing with the Hobby Haven Suite lately, and this card was one of those projects that just came together in the best way. There’s something about these warm colors and the little coffee and baking images that instantly makes my craft room feel extra cozy. If you love earthy tones and simple layers that still look polished, this one might be right up your alley.

For the base, I reached for Basic Beige. It’s such a soft neutral and it gives everything else room to shine. Garden Green ended up being the anchor color throughout the card. I used it for the ink, the ribbon, and a bit of the patterned paper, and it creates such a calm, grounded look.

The star of the whole card is definitely the patterned paper from the suite. The mix of baking tools is so charming. I added a background of the green gingham print. It creates a frame that pulls everything together without feeling busy.

The sentiment sits on a clean die cut oval. I stamped it in Garden Green and I love how crisp it looks against all the warm tones. It’s one of those greetings you can use for just about anyone which makes it easy to keep a few of these cards on hand.

A little ribbon never hurts so I added the Garden Green Chevron Ribbon along the left side for texture. A few Earthy Matte Dots finished things off. They’re tiny but they make the card feel complete.
