Handmade Fall Card with the Beautiful Pumpkins Bundle

When fall crafting season rolls around, I can’t resist reaching for pumpkins, plaids, and rich earthy colors. This handmade card combines all three, and I have to say—it’s one of my favorites for cozy autumn vibes! I pulled out the Beautiful Pumpkins Bundle along with the Gathering Together Designer Series Paper to create a design that feels like a walk through the pumpkin patch with a plaid blanket over your arm.

The Cajun Craze card base is kept simple, letting the layers do the work. I cut my Early Espresso and plaid DSP at 5″ x 3¾”, then placed them at an angle for that fun, slightly rustic feel. On top of that, I added the gorgeous leafy DSP, cut to 4½” x 3″, which ties in perfectly with the pumpkin centerpiece. This angled background instantly makes the card more dynamic—like a little quilt of fall patterns.

For the focal point, I turned to the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a rich circle in warm tones. A stamped pumpkin from the Beautiful Pumpkins Bundle sits right in the center, layered up with a few delicate die-cut leaves. To give it that extra touch of texture, I tucked a loop of Linen Thread beneath the circle—it’s such a simple little detail, but it really softens the whole look.

The sentiment, “So grateful to have a friend like you,” is framed with the Unbounded Love dies. I love how it balances the design without stealing attention from the pumpkin. To finish everything off, I added a few Streaked Dots for just the right pop of shine. It’s amazing how those tiny embellishments bring the whole card together!

This card would make a perfect thank-you, thinking of you, or just-because card during the autumn months. It’s cozy, heartfelt, and festive without being over the top.
