A Bright & Cheerful Birthday Card with the 2025–2027 In Colors

Who doesn’t love a colorful handmade birthday card? Today I’m sharing this fun design featuring the 2025–2027 In Color Designer Series Paper—and guess what? It’s on sale now through August 31st!

For this card, I started with a Basic White base (my go-to for crisp, clean card fronts). From there, I layered the pretty patterned papers onto a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to give everything a soft, grounded look. The floral patterns in these In Colors are so eye-catching—especially when you mix and match a few different shades on the same card.

The sentiment comes from The Right Words stamp set, and I stamped it in Strawberry Slush ink for a bold pop of color. I love how this shade ties in with the patterned paper and pulls the whole design together.

Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a ribbon and bow! A strip of Basic Beige ribbon adds just the right touch of texture without taking away from the bold florals. To finish things off, I added a couple of Strawberry Slush Gems—which just so happen to be included in the sale as well.

This card would be perfect to keep on hand for birthdays year-round. With the DSP doing most of the heavy lifting, you can whip up a stack of these in no time. Plus, since the In Colors are designed to coordinate beautifully, you can easily swap in other shades for a different look.
