A Fun Card Idea with Stampin’ Up’s Celebratory Sips Suite

Today I’m sharing a handmade card that’s perfect for birthdays, celebrations, or just saying “cheers” to someone special. This card uses every item in the suite—plus a few extra dies you’ll want to have on hand. Let’s talk about this card—because I’m seriously obsessed with how it turned out. It all started with the fun Celebratory Sips Designer Series Paper (DSP). I die cut the cute cocktail glass right from the DSP itself—so easy, and it looks like you spent way more time than you actually did (that’s the dream, right?). The pink and coral ombré on the glass just pops against the dark background and adds that vibrant, summer-happy vibe we all love.

For the background, I went with a moody, textured pattern from the same DSP pack. It gives just enough visual interest without stealing the spotlight. I layered that on a basic white card base, which really lets everything else shine. Then, I added some of the Gold Striped Mesh ribbon—because let’s be honest, a little sparkle never hurt anyone.

Now let’s talk texture. I used the Spotlight on Nature Dies to cut two different circles, giving the card some depth and dimension. The larger Secret Sea circle was embossed with the Glass & Gardens folder for extra flair, and it helps anchor the focal point so everything feels pulled together. That cocktail needed a solid “stage” to sit on!

The sentiment? “Cheers to you!”—simple, sweet, and perfect for almost any occasion. I stamped it in Secret Sea and cut it out with another die from the Spotlight on Nature set. The little leaf detailing around the circle adds such a pretty touch, don’t you think? I popped it on with dimensionals and tucked it right above the ribbon for balance.

To finish it off, I added a couple of those Holographic Resin Dots from the suite. They catch the light just right and give the whole card a polished, finished feel. This card came together quickly, but it’s one of those projects that feels complete, special, and full of personality.
