A Fun Fold Card with the Ocean Friends Bundle

Looking for a fresh and fun card design that makes a splash? This fun fold card featuring the Ocean Friends Bundle from Stampin’ Up! is a perfect way to bring a little under-the-sea magic to your crafting! This card is an easy way to add some texture, dimension, and WOW’s to your handmade cards. If you haven’t seen the Ocean Friends Bundle yet, let me introduce you! This stamp and die set duo is part of the stunning Friends of the Ocean Suite, and it’s perfect for anyone who loves beachy, coastal, or nautical themes. It includes 11 photopolymer stamps & 7 coordinating dies. Pair it with the coordinating designer series paper, embellishments, and embossing folders, and you’ve got a recipe for endless creativity!

I wanted to create something a little different from a traditional fold, and this design adds the perfect interactive touch. The base is made from Calypso Coral cardstock. The DSP is scored and folded to create a unique opening that reveals a peek of the inside. The real showstopper is the Peach Pie Glimmer Paper, which adds just the right amount of sparkle and ties everything together beautifully. I used the scalloped border die from the bundle to create a wavy edge, mimicking the look of ocean waves.

The measurements for this card are really easy. They are:

• Card Base- 5½” by 4¼”
• DSP- 12″ by 5¼” scored at 1″, 4″ & 8″
• In Color Glimmer Paper- 1″ by 5¼”
• Colored Cardstock- 4″ by 3″
• Basic White- 3¾” by 2¾”
• Cardstock cut to fit your sentiment
• Scraps for die cutting
