Handmade Valentine using Heart Shaped Bundle

I know how it is. You see all those beautiful handmade cards online and think, “I’d love to do that,” but then you get started, and it’s a mess. Glue everywhere, crooked cuts, and instructions that seem to be written in another language. Trust me, I’ve been there! That’s why I’m passionate about sharing simple, achievable projects that bring joy, not frustration. This card is perfect for those of us who crave a creative outlet but don’t have hours to spend on intricate designs.

For this particular card, I wanted to keep it classic and elegant, so I used traditional Valentine’s colors: Real Red and Basic White.

Textured Background: I started by embossing a piece of Basic White cardstock with the Exposed Brick 3D embossing folder. This adds so much texture and visual interest. It gives the card a really lovely, tactile feel.

Heartfelt Focal Point: I then stamped the beautiful heart images from the Heartfelt Bundle onto another piece of Basic White cardstock using Real Red ink. It’s so pretty and delicate!

Sweet Sentiment: The sentiment, “Happy Valentine’s Day,” comes from the Celebrate Love Ephemera Pack. I love using these packs! So quick and easy!

Finishing Touches: To add some extra sparkle, I used a piece of Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon. It’s so luxurious and adds a touch of elegance. I also added a few adorable heart sequins from the Adhesive Backed Heart Sequins pack. For the flower, I colored it using Real Red and Old Olive Stampin Blends. It reminded me of a rose.
