Easy Winter Card Using The Snowy Wonder Stamp Set| Beginner-Friendly Tutorial

I’m so excited to share this beautiful winter card with you today. It’s perfect for sending holiday greetings to loved ones, and it’s easy enough for even a beginner to create. It uses the Snowy Wonder stamp set from Stampin’ Up! Let me show you how to make it!

If you’re a Stampin’ Up! user, you might be familiar with the Snowy Wonder stamp set. This versatile set is packed with 20 photopolymer stamps, including trees, snowflakes, and a variety of wintery sentiments. There is also a coordinating die set. It’s the perfect set to create a winter wonderland on your cards.

To create this card, I used a masking technique to create a beautiful blue background. I layered Night of Navy, Boho Blue, and Azure Afternoon ink with a sponge dauber to create a stunning ombre effect. Once the background was complete, I stamped trees and snowflakes from the Snowy Wonder stamp set. To add some extra sparkle, I added a few Opal Rounds & some Iridescent Striped Ribbon.

Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors and techniques. There are endless possibilities when it comes to creating handmade cards.

The layers of the card are simple. The card base is Night of Navy cut at 8½” by 5½” and scored at 4¼”. That’s followed by a piece of Boho Blue cut at 5¼” by 4″ then a piece of Basic White cut at 5″ by 3¾”.
