Team Stamp It Blog Hop: Christmas

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Blog Hop, where the theme is Christmas this month! Today, I’m excited to share a card and matching gift box using current Stampin Up products. Check out my project and then click the next name on the list below to get all sorts of festive inspiration!

If you’re looking for a fun and festive way to spread some holiday cheer, why not try your hand at making your own Christmas cards and gifts? With the right supplies, you can create beautiful and unique cards that will wow your friends and family. For my project, I’ll share how I used Stampin’ Up! products to create this card and box that are perfect for the Christmas season.

Let’s start with the box. To create the box, I started by cutting a piece of Garden Green cardstock. Check out the measurements below. Next, I used the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper to decorate the box. I adhered the strips of paper to the box using Stampin’ Seal. Finally, I added a window sheet to the top of the box and put a hot cocoa bomb inside.

The measurements for the box are:

Garden Green base- 7″ by 7″ scored at 2″ on all four sides
Basic White lid- 5″ by 5″ scored at 1″ on all four sides.
DSP (4 pieces)- 2¾” by 1¾”, 2¾” by ¾”
DSP- 3″ by 3″
Window Sheet- 3″ by 3″

To create the card, I started by cutting a piece of Real Red cardstock and a piece of Garden Green cardstock to layer onto my Basic White card base. I then used the Take a Bow Designer Series Paper to cut 2 pieces ¼” smaller. Next, I stamped the sentiment “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” onto a piece of Basic White cardstock and cut it out using the Stylish Shapes dies. I then adhered the sentiment to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Finally, I added a few rhinestones to the card for some extra sparkle.

Tips:

•Don’t be afraid to experiment with different colors and patterns of DSP.

•Use a different embellishment to add your own personal touch.

•Take your time and enjoy the process.
