Decorative Trees Accordion Fold Card | Stampin’ Up!

Who says Christmas cards have to be traditional red and green? Today, I’m shaking things up with a non-traditional color palette that’s sure to wow your friends and family. I’ve combined the vibrant colors of Coastal Cabana, Bubble Bath, and Fresh Freesia to create a festive and modern card. Let me show you what I made!

The Decorative Trees Bundle from Stampin’ Up! is perfect for creating beautiful holiday cards and other paper crafting projects. This bundle includes a photopolymer stamp set and the coordinating Decorative Trees Dies that allow you to cut intricate tree shapes. Whether you prefer a classic Christmas look or a modern, minimalist style, this bundle has everything you need to bring your holiday crafting ideas to life.

For this beautiful accordion fold card I used Coastal Cabana, Bubble Bath, and Fresh Freesia. It’s like a breath of fresh air, perfect for the holiday season. To add some sparkle and shine, I’ve incorporated silver foil garland die-cut with the Decorative Trees Dies. It’s the perfect touch to elevate your cardmaking game.

One of my favorite techniques for creating unique cards is a fun fold. This fun fold allows you to create a card that opens up to reveal a series of panels, each with its own design or message.

To add some visual interest, I’ve incorporated the Subtles & Brights Designer Series Paper. This paper pack features a variety of beautiful patterns and colors, making it the perfect choice for adding layers and texture to your card. I’ve used strips of these papers to create a colorful and eye-catching background.

The measurements for this card are simple. They are:

• Coastal Cabana card base- 5½” by 11″ scored at 1¾”, 3½”, 5¼”, & 7″
• Bubble Bath- 6″ by 3″ scored at 3″
• DSP- all 4 strips at 1½” by 5¼”
• Basic White- 2 pieces at 2¾” by 2¾”, 1 piece at 3¾” by 5¼”
