Crafting a Colorful Thank You Card Set with Layering Leaves

I’m excited to share this fun and easy project that I’ve been working on. I wanted to create a batch of thank you cards that were both beautiful and a breeze to create, so I decided to use the Layering Leaves stamp set from Stampin’ Up & the 2024-2026 In Colors! Let me show you what I made!

I love the versatility of this set, and the 2024-2026 In Colors are just the perfect palette for a bright and cheerful card set. I used Summer Splash, Pretty In Pink, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, and Petunia Pop for my cards, and I couldn’t be happier with how the cards turned out.

To add a splash of color, I stamped the leaf outline in Staz On ink and then filled it in with the coordinating In Color using a water painter. It’s such a simple technique that adds a subtle pop of color. I also used the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper to add some texture and pattern to the cards.

The Layered Florals 3D embossing folder was the perfect finishing touch for these cards. I embossed a strip of cardstock in each color and added it to the bottom of each card. The 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots are the perfect finishing touch.
