Team Stamp It Blog Hop: Christmas In July

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Blog Hop, where we’re celebrating Christmas in July this month with beautiful holiday themed creations! Today, I’m excited to share a card featuring the beautiful Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! My project uses the Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper and Greetings of the Season bundle from Stampin’ Up to create a simple and festive card that is perfect for the holidays.

The Greetings of the Season bundle includes a set of stamps and dies that can be used to create a variety of Christmas cards. The Traditions of St. Nick Designer Series Paper is a beautiful paper that features a variety of Christmas-themed images, including St. Nick, stockings, and traditional Christmas patterns.

The layout for this card is very easy and uses 3 different designs from the DSP. I dry embossed a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the Distressed Tile 3D embossing folder. I then added the 3 pieces of DSP to a piece of Early Espresso cardstock and added that to the embossed cardstock with Stampin Seal.

The measurements for this card are:

• Very Vanilla card base- 8½” by 5½” scored at 4¼”
• Cherry Cobbler- 5¼” by 4″
• Early Espresso- 4¾” by 3½”
• Dsp- 1¼” by 3″, 2″ by 3″ & 1½” by 3⅜”
• Scrap of Very Vanilla for die cutting

I used Early Espresso ink to stamp the greeting that says Merry Christmas. I then die-cut it using the dies from the bundle. I strung some Crumb Cake Bakers Twine through the hole in the die cut and added a berry from the Cherry Cobbler and Pearl Adhesive Backed Berries. So cute!

Here are some additional tips for creating your own Christmas cards:

•Use different papers and textures to add interest to your cards.

•Don’t be afraid to switch things up with different colors and designs.

•Add personal touches to your cards, such as photos, handwritten messages, or special embellishments.

•Most importantly, have fun!
