Planted Paradise: A Versatile Stamp Set for Easy Cardmaking

In today’s blog post, I’m going to show you how I used the Planted Paradise stamp set to create a simple yet stunning card. This card is perfect for any occasion, and it’s a great way to showcase the versatility of this stamp set. Let me show you what I made!

The Planted Paradise stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is a fantastic all-arounder for creating a variety of cards. Paired with the right sentiment, you can make cards for any occasion!

For this card, I used the reversible side of the stamp to create a beautiful background in Coastal Cabana ink. The reversible stamp is a great feature of this stamp set – it allows you to get even more use out of the stamps! I then used the Keeping Tabs stamp set to stamp the “hello friend” greeting in the same color. The sentiment adds a nice touch and is perfect for a friendly hello card.

I wanted to add a little bit of dimension to the card, so I fussy cut the vase and leaf from the stamped image. Fussy cutting is a technique where you cut out the image itself from the stamped image. This is a great way to add depth and interest to your cards.

A piece of patterned paper in the background from the Brights DSP pack in Lemon Lime Twist adds a pop of color and pattern, and I finished the card off with a few Tinsel Gems for some sparkle. These little touches really elevate the look of the card and make it look extra special.
