3 Ways to Color using the Sketched Butterflies Bundle

Today, I’m so excited to share the stunning Sketched Butterflies Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This bundle is beautiful and you can color these delicate butterflies in a multitude of ways!

I’ll be showing you three amazing coloring techniques: Stampin’ Blends, Watercolor Pencils, and Blending Brushes. Each method offers a unique look, so you can truly customize your project. Let me show you what I made!

The first coloring technique is Stampin Blends. These alcohol markers are a dream for achieving smooth, vibrant colors. In the video, I’ll show you how to layer colors with the Stampin’ Blends to create realistic depth and dimension on your butterflies. It’s like magic watching those wings come alive!

The second technique is using Watercolor Pencils. Watercolor pencils offer a softer, more ethereal feel. I’ll demonstrate how to breathe life into your butterflies with these pencils, then use a Water Painter to soften the colors and create a beautiful watercolor effect. It’s perfect for a touch of delicate charm.

The final technique is using Blending Brushes.  With blending brushes, you can achieve a smooth, seamless finish. This technique is perfect for beginners or those who prefer a more controlled coloring style.

Head over to my YouTube channel and see these techniques in action. I also share some gorgeous card ideas for each coloring method to get your creative juices flowing.
