Easy Handmade Graduation Cards

Graduation season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate a graduate’s achievements than with a heartfelt, personalized card? Now, you might be thinking, “Handmade cards? I’m not crafty!” But fear not, because creating stunning graduation cards is surprisingly simple, even for beginners. We’ll be using the Cap & Gown Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up. Let me show you what I made!

The Cap & Gown Stamp Set features stamps that can be combined or used separately on paper projects, cards, gift tags, and more to wish happy graduation to nephews, nieces, grandchildren, friends, and all of those who deserve some congratulations! The set includes 9 cling stamps and is super easy to use.

Garden Green

The beauty of this project lies in its simplicity.  I made several cards, each with a different color scheme, but the basic design remains the same. This makes it perfect for crafters of all experience levels – beginners can create beautiful cards quickly, while seasoned crafters can add their own unique flourishes.

Calypso Coral

Here’s what you’ll need to get started:

•Cardstock in various colors
•Basic White cardstock (for stamping)
•Cap & Gown Stamp Set
•Colorful ink pads (coordinating with the cardstock for a Monochromatic look)
• adhesive

Summer Splash

Feeling fancy? Cut out the stamped gown with scissors for a dimensional effect. I popped it up with a few Stampin dimensionals.

Fresh Freesia

As you can see, creating beautiful graduation cards doesn’t require a lot of time or fancy supplies. With just a stamp set, some ink pads, and a little creativity, you can craft heartfelt cards that celebrate the graduate’s achievements in a truly special way.
