Using Those Patterned Paper Scraps!

We all have them – those leftover bits and pieces of Designer Series Paper that are too pretty to throw away, but not quite big enough for a full card front. Well, today, I’m here to show you how to use up those scraps in a fun and creative way! Let me show you what I made!

I’m a huge fan of pretty patterned paper, and I know you probably are too. But let’s be honest, we all have a box (or two or ten) overflowing with those beautiful Designer Series Paper scraps!

For this card, I used the beautiful Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper. The good news is that this collection is carrying over into the new Annual Catalog, which launches on May 1st.  However, the Beautiful Balloons Bundle that I used for the sentiment is retiring on that same day, so be sure to snag it before it’s gone!

This is a really simple fun fold. The measurements are:

• Blueberry Bushel- 5½” by 4¼”
• DSP- 5¼” by 4″
• Blueberry Bushel- 2¼” by 8″ scored at 4″
• Basic White (2)- 2″ by 3¾”
• DSP strips- ½” wide, various lengths
• Basic White (sentiment)- ¾” by ¾”

The card that I created features a bright and cheery color scheme, but you can easily adapt this project to fit any occasion. For a thank you card, you might use bold, primary colors.  For a sympathy card, you might use softer, pastel colors. The possibilities are endless!
