Crafting Made Simple using the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up!

Today, I’m super excited to share with you a little piece of handmade happiness featuring the Happy Hedgehogs Stamp Set. But guess what? There are no hedgehogs in sight – just a cute little blue bird stealing the spotlight! It’s super easy to create. Let me show you what I made!

Happy Hedgehogs is one of those stamp sets that I definitely would recommend to beginner stampers. It has images and sentiments and even a coordinating paper punch to cut out one of the hedgehogs. 9 photopolymer stamps make it easy to stamp perfectly every single time!

Let’s talk about the magic of stamping, shall we? It’s one of those crafts that anyone can dive into, regardless of skill level. This card is a prime example of just how easy and fun stamping can be. With a trusty ink pad in hand I stamped our adorable blue bird onto the cardstock canvas, ready to be brought to life with color.

To bring our bird friend to life, I reached for my Stampin Blends. With Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, and Pecan Pie, I added depth and dimension to the image. However, if simple is your style, stick with Night of Navy – it’s available in a convenient Combo Pack of light and dark, making coloring a breeze.

To set the scene for our blue bird’s adventure, I chose the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper for the card background. Its soothing shades of blues provided the perfect backdrop, accentuating the charm of our feathered friend. And for that extra touch of pizzazz, I sprinkled a few Pastel Sequins in gold – because who doesn’t love a little sparkle?
