2 Step Stamping With Two Toned Flora

This beautiful birthday card was created using the Two-Toned stamp set from Stampin’ Up! This stamp set (and coordinating dies) are retiring soon, so if you’ve been thinking about getting it, now’s the time! Let me show you what I made!

Two-Toned Flora Bundle is a stamp set and a coordinating die set, which makes it easy to create stunning two-step stamped images. This stamp set features solid flower images and coordinating shaded-detail images, so you can add more depth and dimension to your projects. You can stay traditional with your colors by using a light tone as the solid base and a darker tone for the details.

Two-step stamping is a technique that uses two stamps to create one image. The first stamp lays down the base of the image, and the second stamp adds details on top. This technique can be used to create realistic and dimensional images.

To create the two-toned flowers on this card, I first stamped the outline of the flower in Melon Mambo, first “stamping off” to get a lighter shade. Then, I stamped the details of the flower on top in Melon Mambo at full strength. The two-step stamping technique creates a beautiful and dimensional flower image.

The Two-Toned Flora stamp set is a versatile stamp set that can be used to create a variety of handmade cards.

Here are a few other ideas:

•Use the stamp set to create a sympathy card. Stamp the flowers in a soft and muted color palette.

•Create a thank you card by stamping the flowers in bright and cheerful colors.

I hope this blog post has inspired you to create your own handmade cards and maybe has taught you a new technique. To see exactly how I made this card, be sure to follow me on Instagram. I’ll be posting a reel March 28th showing how it’s done! Happy Stamping!
