How to transform your cards!

Ever wish you could transform a card you’ve made or seen? In this blog post, I’ll show you the transformation of a card featuring the enchanting Magical Meadow Bundle. The original design, while charming, had a few elements that needed a makeover. And there’s a video tutorial showing you exactly what I changed!

The original card isn’t so bad, but there’s definitely things to improve. The Silver Threaded Twine, although cute, added bulkiness to the design. And the plain background is just a little meh.

To add to the card’s aesthetic, I chose the Softly Sophisticated 3D Embossing Folder. This delightful addition not only adds texture but also creates a visually appealing background. The best part? By removing the Silver Threaded Twine, we achieve a sleeker and more refined look. The absence of bulk allows the intricate details of the Magical Meadow Bundle to shine.

The measurements of this card are pretty simple. They are:

Lost Lagoon card base: 5½” by 8½”, scored at 4¼”
Basic White: 5¼” by 4″
Pretty Peacock: 2¾” by 1¼”
Basic White: 2½” by 1″
