‘Tis the season to spread joy and warmth, and what better way to do so than with a handmade Christmas card? In this blog post, I’m thrilled to share a festive Christmas card using the Brightest Glow stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
Shine a light on your heartfelt wishes for everyone this Christmas with the Brightest Glow Stamp Set. All will be merry and bright when you sit down to craft your season’s greetings with these 12 sentiments in a wide range of styles and fonts. There’s something for everyone!
This stamp set coordinates with the Labels Aglow dies to help you create the most stunning Christmas crafts!
This card, inspired by the talented Amy Koenders at Stamp With Amy K, is so fun! I used the Stylish Shapes dies to die cut different sized circles from the Joy of Christmas Designer Series Paper.
While this particular paper might no longer be available, fear not! The beauty of this design lies in its adaptability – any other Designer Series Paper from the September-December Mini Catalog can be seamlessly substituted. But get your favorites before they’re gone! The Last Chance Products sale is going on now until January 3rd.
The magic truly happens with the use of Stampin’ Blends. I carefully colored a piece of Gingham Ribbon with the Cherry Cobbler combo pack. For an extra touch, I used dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends to add light specks to the card’s background by flicking the markers against the lids.
I love the look of multiple layers on a card! The measurements for this card are:
- Cherry Cobbler card base- 4¼” by 11″
- Basic White- 5¼” by 4″
- Cherry Cobbler- 5″ by 3¾”
- Basic White- 4¾” by 3½”
- Scraps of DSP for die cutting
The Cascading Ruffles 3D Embossing Folder add such an elegant yet subtle effect to the background of this card. A few white Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems really make this card shine!
One of the standout features of this handmade Christmas card is its simplicity. With just a handful of supplies, you can recreate this joyous creation and share the spirit of the season with your loved ones.
While I drew inspiration from Amy Koenders’ design, the true beauty of crafting lies in personalization. Feel free to experiment with different color combinations, variations in die-cut shapes, or even add your unique flair to the background. The joy of creating something handmade is enhanced when it carries a touch of your own personality. Happy Stamping!Product List
