Beary Christmas “OnStage” Card

I’m so excited to share with you a quick and easy handmade card, featuring the Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper from Stampin’ Up! Inspired by the recent OnStage event, I’ve recreated a card using a layout from the event but with a twist.

Fill your crafts with magic this holiday season using the Beary Christmas 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Designer Series Paper! This paper is filled with special Christmas images on every page. There are adorable polar bears, gift designs, reindeer, snowy skies, and several unique seasonal patterns that can be used in so many ways. Use as a card base, background layers, or fussy cut the designs to create a Christmas scene.

This weekend’s OnStage event (Stampin Up’s annual convention for demonstrators) was so inspirational! They showed some incredible projects that really sparked my creativity. The layout they presented immediately caught my eye, and I couldn’t wait to put my own spin on it using the Beary Christmas DSP.

The layout is quite simple, but really eye-catching! The measurements are:

• Real Red card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
• Real Red- 4¾” by 3½”
• DSP (stripes)- 2¼” by 3¼”
• DSP (gifts)- 2¼” by 3″

I began by stamping the Real Red layer randomly with the gift stamp from the Beary Cute stamp set. I used Real Red ink for a tone on tone look. I then layered on the DSP. I punched the polar bear from the DSP using the Beary Cute Punch.

One of the best parts of crafting is the ability to infuse your own style into every project. While I used this layout, I swapped out the stamps, ink, and paper to create a one-of-a-kind card. This not only adds a personal touch but also demonstrates how easy it is to adapt designs with the supplies you already have.
