Level Complete Birthday Card

Today, I am so excited to share with you a fun birthday card that’s just perfect for the little gamers in your life. Using the Level Complete stamp set from Stampin’ Up, I’ll show you exactly how to create this card.

The Level Complete stamp set is perfect for all the video game enthusiasts! There are 12 cling stamps in this set that include fun images and sentiments.

I started with a black cardstock base, which gave the card a sleek and edgy look. To add a touch of excitement, I used pieces of the Stargazing Designer Series Paper for the background. The stars and cosmic elements on the paper perfectly complement the gaming theme.

I used the Stripes and Splatters 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture. Be sure to watch the video tutorial below to see how I used the embossing folder.

Now, here comes the fun part – the video game controller and the “Leveled Up!” sentiment. I wanted these elements to really pop, so I used white embossing powder. The result was a crisp, bright white image against the dark background that screamed “gaming achievement unlocked.”

I must say, heat embossing is a game-changer in the world of cardmaking. The raised, glossy effect you get is just incredible, and it adds a professional touch to your creations. Plus, it’s super satisfying to watch the powder melt and transform into this beautiful design.

I kept the measurements for this card super simple. They are:

• Basic Black card base- 4¼” by 11″ scored at 5½”
• Basic Black- 5¼” by 4″
• Basic White- 5¼” by 4″
• Stargazing DSP (planets) – 3¾” by 2½”
• Stargazing DSP (stars)- 4″ by 1¾”
• Scraps of Basic Black
