Pick of the Patch Fall Card

Looking for a fun card with a cool coloring technique? I’ve got you covered! In this blog post, I’ll show you how to create multi colored pumpkins using the Pick of the Patch bundle from Stampin’ Up.

Pick of the Patch bundle

This bundle is a fall favorite of mine. I love the adorable pumpkins and festive sentiments! And the coordinating punch makes cutting out your pumpkins so easy. Purchase the stamp set and punch together, and save 10%.

For the ombre colored pumpkins, I used two ink colors: Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze. I then stamped the stems in Crumb Cake and the leaves in Cajun Craze.

To create the ombre effect, I first stamped my pumpkin in Crushed Curry and then added a bit of Cajun Craze to the edges using a sponge dauber. It creates an awesome effect that you could use with any stamps and inks you have!

I chose the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder for a subtle background. I then layered my scene on a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock. The measurements for this card are:

  • Crumb Cake Cardbase- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Crumb Cake- 5¼” by 4″
  • Cajun Craze- 4⅝” by 3⅜”
  • Basic White- 4½” by 3¼”
  • Basic White (inside)- 5¼” by 4″

I finished the card using the Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots. They go perfectly with this card!

I hope this card has inspired you to create some fall projects. The Pick of the Patch bundle is so fun and great for fall! Check out all the supplies used below. Happy Stamping!
