Two Toned Flora Sympathy Card
During times of grief, a thoughtful gesture can speak volumes, and a handmade sympathy card can offer a heartfelt way to convey your sympathy. In this post, I’ll show you how to create an elegant sympathy card using the Two Toned Flora stamp set from Stampin’ Up.

Sympathy cards are never fun to have to make. I tend to keep some on hand for when I unfortunately need them.
To start my card, I cut a thick piece of Basic White for my based and another piece of Basic White to use the intricate die from the Two Toned Flora die set. The measurements for this card are:
- Thick Basic White- 4¼” by 11″ scored at 5½”
- Basic White- 5⅜” by 4⅛”
- Scraps of Basic White for stamping and die cutting.

For my sample card, I cut my Basic White piece a little too short. I didn’t want to waste it, so I used it on my card. I highly recommend cutting your cardstock to at least 5⅜” by 4⅛”. You might even have better luck cutting it to 5½” by 4¼” and trimming it down.
I chose more muted colors for my flowers. Moody Mauve and Boho Blue were perfect for this card. I stamped the sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set and used the Something Fancy dies to cut it out.

I hope this card helped to inspire your creativity. If you don’t need a sympathy card (and I hope you don’t), this would also make a lovely anniversary or birthday card. Happy Stamping!
