Trucking Along Treat Box & Video Tutorial

Today, I’ll be showing you how to make a handmade treat box made with the Trucking Along Bundle from Stampin’ Up. This box is perfect for holding little treats like candy or chocolates, making it a fantastic gift packaging option for any occasion!

Trucking Along Bundle

The Trucking Along Bundle from Stampin’ Up is perfect for this project. Featuring 26 photopolymer stamps and the coordinating Trucking Along Builder Punch, this bundle allows you to create a wide range of projects.

The punch is currently unavailable until October but the stamped truck could easily be fussy cut with a pair of scissors.

I originally got the idea for this box from Sam Hammond Donald in the UK. You can see her project by clicking the button below.

I added a piece of the Glorious Gingham DSP to the box along with elements from the Trucking Along stamp set. I used Stampin Blends to color the gifts in bed of the truck but you could easily color them with the provided stamp in the set.

The measurements for this box are pretty easy. I show you in the video tutorial exactly how to fold and cut the box and put it together. The measurements are:

  • Pecan Pie- 11″ by 4″
  • Score the 11″ side (long side) at- 1″, 5″, 6″, 10″
  • Score the 4″ side (short side) at- 1″, 3″
  • Glorious Gingham DSP- 1â…ž” by 3â…ž”
  • Pecan Pie- 1¾” by 1¼”
  • Basic White- 1½” by 1″

This box would be perfect for small treats such and candies or chocolates. Hershey nuggets, fun sized candy bars, you name it!

I’ve created a video tutorial on my YouTube channel showing you exactly how to cut, score and put this box together. Click the button below to see the video on my YouTube channel!
