Sending Smiles Bright Birthday Card

Summer is in full swing and I want to show you how to create a beautiful, summer inspired card! Using the Sending Smiles stamp set from Stampin’ Up, I’ll show you how to make this card. It’s perfect for summer birthdays!

The Sending Smiles stamp set & Sending dies are fantastic for all different types of cards. Send sunshine to brighten someone’s day, comfort and strength, a note of thanks, or birthday wishes with a variety of sayings in the stamp set. The coordinating dies die cut the beautiful floral images. Mix and match blossoms, buds, stems, and leaves for new patterns that can be as simple or complex as you like!

Since we’re talking all about summer colors, I chose to vibrant ones for this card. Coastal Cabana and Parakeet Party. Coastal Cabana is a delightful hue that is bright and reminds me of Caribbean waters. Parakeet Party is an electrifying green that radiates energy and adds a fun pop to your projects!

The measurements for this card are simple to keep the focus of this card on the stamping. The measurements are:

• Coastal Cabana base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
• Parakeet Party- 5¼” by 4″
• Basic White- 5″ by 3¾”
• Basic White (inside)- 5¼” by 4″
• Scraps of Basic White for die cutting
