Cheerful Daisies Card- Create your own patterned paper!

Today’s card uses the Cheerful Daisies bundle from the Fresh As A Daisy Suite by Stampin’ Up! We’ll be using a few different techniques to create this one of a kind, handmade card.

Cheerful Daisies bundle

Your cards will bloom with happiness when you use the Cheerful Daisies Bundle. Stamp a daisy or two complete with leaves and stem, then cut out using the coordinating dies. This bundle includes 15 photopolymer stamps and coordinating dies. You’ll love everything you can do with this set!

The first step in our crafting process is die cutting our Daisies. Then I used a blending brush to add a bit of Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath to the centers. Watch the video below to see how it’s done.

The measurements for this card are:

  • Card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Fresh Freesia- 5¼” by 4″
  • Basic White- 5″ by 3¾”
  • Soft Sea Foam- 1″ by 5″
  • Fresh Freesia- 2¾” by ¾”
  • Basic White- 2½” by ½”
  • Scraps of Basic White for die cutting

Next we’ll design our unique patterned paper. This DIY technique let’s us to add a personal touch to our projects while unleashing our creativity. It’s all about randomly stamping and filling in the white space.

After we do our stamping, it’s time to put it all together! I also added an embossed piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock to add some texture. Be sure to check out all the supplies I used to make this card below.

Putting the card together is easy! First, put together your layers and adhere the DIY patterned paper we created earlier.

Arrange and adhere the daisies onto the patterned paper, leaving space for a heartfelt sentiment.

Stamp a sentiment of your choice onto a strip of cardstock using coordinating ink colors.

Finally, attach the sentiment strip to the card, completing your gorgeous creation.

I’ve created a video tutorial that’s shows you exactly how to create this card! Click the button below to head over to the video.

The DIY patterned paper and the blended daisies add a personal touch to your project, making it truly one-of-a-kind. I hope you enjoyed the video tutorial and that it inspired you to explore even more crafting techniques and projects in the future. Happy Stamping!
