Let’s Go Fishing Retirement Card

Have an angler in your life you need to make a card for? The Let’s Go Fishing Suite from Stampin’ Up is perfect for that! This card uses the entire Suite to make a retirement card, but you could easily switch the sentiment and have a card for a birthday, father’s day and more.

The Let’s Go Fishing Suite includes exactly what you need to create beautiful fishing and nature themed cards and crafts. The suite includes the Let’s Go Fishing stamp and die bundle, Let’s Go Fishing 12″ by 12″ Designer Series Paper and the Twisted Rope 3D Embossing Folder.

The card I made uses all the parts of the suite! I added color to a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock using a small blending brush and Misty Moonlight ink. I then embossed it with the Twisted Rope 3D embossing folder.

I stamped and die cut the fish and fishing jig. I also die cut a hook using a scrap piece of Gold Foil. Three ink colors were used on this card, Misty Moonlight, Smoky Slate & Mossy Meadow. I also added a piece of Crumb Cake Bakers Twine behind the die cut sentiment.
