Stamp It Group Easter Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamp It Group Spring Easter Blog Hop! I’m Sarah McGuire and you’re on my blog, SassyPaperCrafts. Whether you’ve just landed on my blog or you’re coming by from another welcome!

My project uses the Easter Bunny stamp set in combination with the Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper to make a matching card and treat box. Read on to get all the details!

This month, I thought it would be cute to make a card and matching treat box! This would be perfect to give to the host of your Easter dinner or a table favors if you host dinner. So many little treats can fit inside the box I made using the Cracker & Treat Box dies. (Think jelly beans, mini eggs, etc.)

I started my project by stamping my images and sentiments using the Easter Bunny stamp set. This set has 15 photopolymer stamps and is just perfect for all sorts of Easter and spring crafts!

I matched the treat box to the card by using the Hues Of Happiness Designer Series Paper on both projects. This paper is so bright and cheerful, perfect for springtime!

I used Stampin Blends to color the bunny and eggs on my card. I love how vibrant the colors are! I chose Gorgeous Grape as my base color but really, you could you any color you’d like! I nice Balmy Blue would be pretty as well.

The card layout is pretty simple and uses several layers. The measurements are:

  • Card base- 4¼” by 11″ scored at 5½”
  • Basic White- 5¼” by 4″
  • Gorgeous Grape- 4¼” by 3″
  • DSP- 4″ by 2¾”
  • Gorgeous Grape- 3″ by 1¼”
  • Basic White- 2¾” by 1″
  • DSP for treat box- ¾” by 2½”
  • Basic White for treat box- ¾” by 2″
  • Scraps of Basic White for die cutting
