Simple Stamping Two Toned Flora Card

Need a simple and quick card? This card uses the Two Toned Flora stamp set from Stampin’ Up to create a card great for any occasion!

Two Toned Flora stamp set

The Two Toned Flora stamp set is from the Stampin Up Mini Catalog’s Fancy Flora Suite. It is a 2 step stamp set that uses 2 stamps to create 1 beautiful image. This stamp set is also apart of a bundle that includes coordinating dies.

To create these bright images, I used Stampin Up’s masking paper after I stamped the center flower. I created a template and stamped the Coastal Cabana and Melon Mambo flowers with the masking paper over the top of the Gorgeous Grape flower.

My tip for getting perfect flowers every time is to line up the centers of the flowers. I stamp the solid image onto scrap paper first to create a lighter color. This technique is called “stamping off”. Then I stamp onto my cardstock. Line up the detailed stamp with the center of the flower and stamp. The clear photopolymer stamp makes this easy.

I then stamped a sentiment in Melon Mambo from the Something Fancy Bundle which is also in the Fancy Flora Suite. I choose Gorgeous Grape & Coastal Cabana cardstock for my layers. The measurements for this card are:

  • Coastal Cabana- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Basic White (2)- 5¼” by 4″
  • Gorgeous Grape- 4¼” by 3″
  • Basic White- 4⅛” by 2⅞”

To see how easy it is to make this card, I’ve created a reel that you’ll be able to see on my Instagram, Facebook page and Pinterest later today! Be sure you’re following me.

I hope you enjoyed this card! Check out the supplies I used below. Happy Stamping!
