Welcome to the Team Stamp It Valentine’s Day Blog Hop! This hop features some awesome projects from the talented demonstrators on Team Stamp It. Take a look at my project below and then continue on the hop by clicking the next name on the list. Happy hopping!
For my project this month, I thought purple would be the way to go. I combined the free Sale-A-Bration paper Favoered Flowers and the Country Bouquet Bundle. The beautiful flowers in the paper are perfect for valentines day!
This card is also a fun fold! This easel card folds flat to make it easy to mail but stands up beautifully on a mantle or table.
The measurements for this card are:
- Card base- 11″ by 4¼” scored at 5½” & 2¾”
- Fresh Freesia- 5½” by 4¼”
- DSP- 5¼” by 4″
- Basic White (inside) – 5¼” by 4″
- Scraps of Basic White and Basic Black
For the inside, I stamped my sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White and die cut it using an oval from the All That Dies. I placed it towards the top using a Stampin Dimensional to give the easel card a place to rest when it’s opened.
I stamped my sentiment and the hearts in Fresh Freesia. I then cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and for the hearts I used the Country Bouquet punch.
Note: the Country Bouquet punch is currently unavailable but you could swap out the hearts for flowers or other pieces. You could even fussy cut the hearts from the Country Bouquet stamp set!
To finish my project, I added a few Matte Black Dots and a bow using the Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon. You can check out all the supplies I used below.
I hope you enjoyed my card today! Be sure to click on the next name to continue on the hop. Don’t forget to leave a comment on each post using the hashtag stampitcontest to be entered to win a Take Your Pick tool!
