Stuck on what to make? Recreate your cards! All this week I’ve been doing throwback redesigns of past cards I’ve already made using current Stampin’ Up products. To get all the details on this one, keep reading!
For this project, I decided to recreate a valentines card I made in January 2022. You can see the original project by clicking the button below.
Stampin’ Up has an amazing join special starting on January 5th and I plan on welcoming some new team members to SassyPaperCrafts, so naturally, they need cards!
I started my project by using the super fun Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper. This paper retires January 4th and is on sale right now!
I made this card in 5 colors (you can see the 5th on my Instagram). I altered the original design slightly, but this card was very easy to make multiples of! The measurements are:
- Card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
- Basic White- 5¼” by 4″
- Colored Cardstock- 3¾” by 2½”
- DSP- 3⅝” by 2⅜”
- Scrap of colored cardstock and Basic White for die cutting
The sentiment comes from the retired, demonstrator exclusive stamp set, Stamping Your Way To The Top. I just love this set for making cards for my team members!
I used 2 different die sets for these cards. The Designer Tags dies for the butterfly and leafy piece and Stylish Shapes for the stitched square. The Gingham Embossing Folder adds a nice texture to the background. You can see the full supply list below.
I hope you enjoyed this project today! And maybe I’ll be sending YOU one of these cards January 5th. Seriously, the join special is going to be amazing and I’m so excited to help you get the most out of your Stampin Up experience!
