Card sets are one of my favorite things to make. I love having cards on hand for all sorts of occasions. They also make great gifts! Keep reading to see how I made this fun birthday card set.
For this card set, I started with the super pretty Butterfly Kisses Designer Series Paper. This paper is so bright and fun, it makes great birthday cards!
Next, I stamped flowers and leaves from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set. I then used the Flowers & Leaves punch to punch them out. Paper punches make crafting so easy!
I used 3 different colors on all 4 of the cards in the set. Calypso Coral for the card bases and Fresh Freesia & Parakeet Party for the secondary colors.
The measurements for these cards are all the same. They are:
- Card base- 4¼” by 11″ scored at 5½”
- Basic White- 5¼” by 4″
- Fresh Freesia- 3¼” by 4½”
- DSP- 2″ by 3½”
- Parakeet Party- 2″ by 1¼”
- Basic White- 1¾” by 1″
- Scraps of Basic White for flowers and leaves
I used several different embellishments to add bling to each card. Be sure to check out the supply list below!
I hope these bright birthday cards inspire you to make cards sets! Tell me in the comments what your favorite type of cards is to make.
