Boughs Of Holly Christmas Card

The Boughs Of Holly Suite from Stampin’ Up in the July-Dec Mini Catalog is perfect for all of your holiday cards! This Suite features traditional colors, gorgeous images and lovely sentiments. Keep reading to see how I made this festive card!

Boughs Of Holly Suite

This suite includes so much! Of course you can purchase each item individually, but Stampin Up makes it easy to get it all with one, convenient item number.

The suite includes:

  • Leaves of Holly Stamp
  • Holly Berry Dies
  • Boughs Of Holly 12″ by 12″ DSP
  • Natural Woven Ribbon
  • Textural Elements

Product colors: Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Poppy Parade, Real Red, Sahara Sand, Shaded Spruce, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede.

I made this card into a “card pack”, perfect for gift giving, so I made 5 of these at once. I started by doing all my die cutting first. Since this card relies heavily on die cutting, I recommend it for more advanced stampers. If you’re a beginner, the layout will still work for other cards that don’t use dies though!

After I did my die cutting, I started stamping. There is very little stamping on this card, just the sentiment! The card measurements are as follows:

  • Card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Basic White (2)- 5¼” by 4″
  • DSP- 3″ by 4¼”
  • Scraps of Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Mossy Meadow & Basic White for die cutting.

I also added some of the ribbon from the suite to give a little texture. Add a few Festive Pearls and this card is done!

I hope you enjoyed this project today! Be sure to check out the supplies I used in the list below. Happy Stamping!
