Team Stamp It April Blog Hop- Mother’s Day

Welcome to the Team Stamp It April Mother’s Day Blog Hop! This hop features some amazing projects from the talented demonstrators on Team Stamp It. Take a look at my project below and then continue on the hop by clicking the next name on the list. Happy hopping!

This month for my project, I decided to CASE myself! CASE stands for copy and selectively edit. So I used the same basic layout of the previous card and swapped it the colors!

On the left is the “new” version and on the right is the “old”. CASEing can really open up your creative options and give you tons of ideas. I actually CASE projects from the Stampin Up Catalogs regularly.

For this card, I gathered my supplies. The full supply list can be found below. The measurements for this card are:

  • Basic White card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Calypso Coral layer- 5¼” by 4″
  • Basic White Embossed Layer- 5″ by 3¾”
  • Scraps of Calypso Coral, Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen for die cutting

I used the Petals Dies to make these gorgeous pansies. The rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly dies fit my sentiment perfectly! The sentiment comes from the Celebrating You stamp set.

I layered everything on a piece of Basic White embossed using the Painted Textures embossing folder. The Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave ribbon and a few Opal Rounds complete the card.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my card today! Be sure to click the next name on the list to continue on the hop. And make sure to leave a comment using the hashtag stampitcontest to be entered to win a Stamparatus!!

Congratulations to Lisa Parsons who won the Whale Done stamp set and Whale Punch for using the hashtag on her comment last month.
