Sweet Talk Purple Valentine

Usually, I’m not big into Valentine’s Day but this suite has me hooked! Keep reading to see exactly how I made this card.

Sweet Talk Suite

This suite is so cute and uses some of my absolute favorite Stampin Up colors! I’m also a big fan of hearts, so the dies in this set are sure to be used year round.

For this card, I chose to highlight the gorgeous Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper. I used Highland Heather (my favorite) as my card base. The measurements are:

  • Card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Basic white (2, one for inside)- 5¼” by 4″
  • Highland Heather panels- 4″ by 2″
  • DSP Panels- 3¾” by 1¾”
  • Scraps of Basic White and Highland Heather for circles

I picked a few of the heart stamps and inked them up in Highland Heather. I lighten the color by “stamping off” onto a piece of scrap paper. I then stamped my sentiment in “full strength” and die cut it using the Layering Circles dies.

I also die cut a few of the little hearts from a scrap of Highland Heather and randomly placed them on my card. I used a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish the front.

For the inside, I stamped a few hearts (stamping off to fill them in) and my sentiment. I love decorating the inside of my cards. It creates a nice surprise.
