Flowering Tulips- Heat Embossing Technique

Today’s card features a technique I love AND a brand new stamp and die bundle from the new Jan-June Mini Catalog. Heat embossing is a great way to add a wow to your projects. Read on to see how I made this card!

I started this project with a different technique in mind, ink blending. I blended Melon Mambo and Gorgeous Grape on a piece of Basic White cardstock using a blending brush.

Stampin up no longer sells the Embossing Buddy that I use to get static off of my cardstock, but you can get a similar one by clicking the button below.

I then stamped some tulips from the new Flowering Tulips stamp set using Versamark ink. I poured some White Embossing Powder over them and set it with my Heat Tool. Then die cut them with the Tulip Dies, another new product from the Jan-June Mini Catalog. Need a catalog? Click the button below and I’ll send one right out!

Look at that texture and detail!

Behind that panel, I added a new Sale-A-Bration product that I received for free with a $50 order. Simply Marbelous is a gorgeous 6×6 paper pack that you could earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration starting January 4th.

I also heat embossed my sentiment using a technique I showed live in my VIP group. Click the button below to join my VIP group and watch the replay!

I hope you enjoyed this card today! Take a look at the supplies listed below (since the new ones aren’t available until January 4th, I can’t show them yet)
