For my project this month, I chose to work with the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set and coordinating So Many Snowflakes Dies.

I used a technique that I’ve used many times before but can’t get enough of. Blending Brushes!

On a piece of Basic White cardstock, I used Pool Party ink and blended it using the Blending Brushes. I always start in the middle and worked my way out. That way you get more even coverage.

Next, I stamped snowflakes from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set with Versamark and covered them with White Emboss Powder. I then set the Powder using my heat tool.

I used the label die from the So Many Snowflakes Dies to cut out the center. O love that stitching!

I then stamped my sentiment into another piece of Basic White a quarter inch smaller using Pool Party ink. The measurements for this card are listed below.

  • Pool Party card base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
  • Basic White (for blending)- 5¼” by 4″
  • Basic white (for stamping)- 5″ by 3¾”

To finish the card, I added a few die cut snowflakes using the So Many Snowflakes Dies. I then added a piece of ⅜” Sheer Pool Party ribbon and made a bow.

The final finishing touch was adding a bit of Wink Of Stella to the snowflakes and a Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Don’t forget to leave a comment using the hashtag stampitcontest for a chance to win the Looking Up Card Kit!

Congratulations to last month’s winner, JoAnn Porter!
