June Stamp It Blog Hop- Patriotic/Summer Theme

When I think of summer, I think of the beach! For my project, I decided to use the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle along with the Seashells 3D embossing folder.
The Sand & Sea Suite is absolutely beautiful and so many items from it carried over to the annual catalog! That makes me so happy. 😊
The measurements for this card are:
- Highland Heather Base- 5½” by 8½” scored at 4¼”
- Highland Heather layer- 5¼” by 4″
- Sand & Sea DSP- 4″ by 2¾”
I started with a die cut of the shells using the Seaside Seashells Dies. I used a blending brush along with So Saffron, Petal Pink and Highland Heather ink to add color to it.
After it had some color, I then ran it through the Stampin Cut and Emboss Machine using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. How cool!
I then cut the shells apart using my paper snips so I could add them to my card.
I also embossed the Highland Heather layer with that same folder and die cut my sentiment using the Scalloped Contours dies. To finish the card, I some white twine from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.
