Stampin’ Up! Adhesive types and how to use them
This post is all about adhesive! I’ll go over some of the different kinds Stampin Up sells and how to use them on your projects.

The first adhesive I want to talk about are Dimensionals. There are 3 types and 2 sizes. I mainly use the standard size Dimensionals but Mini Stampin Dimensionals are great for smaller die cuts. Dimensionals add lift and well dimensions to your projects. Use them for die cuts, layers or anything you want to add a little pop to.

Stampin Seal is your everyday adhesive. This adhesive replaced our Snail Adhesive in 2019. Use this to adhere card layers.

Stampin Seal + is heavy duty stuff. You could use it to adhere card layers but it’s made to be stronger than that. Use it for 3D projects or anything that needs a stronger hold. Be careful using this on embossed cardstock. It’s so strong it could easily tear it.

Multipurpose Liquid Glue is a standard and must have for a lot of people. I personally choose Seal over this but I do love it for embossed cardstock. It gets into all the nooks and crannies. Use this for card layers, embellishments, anything really.

Tear and Tape is similar to Seal + in strength. But this double sided tape can be torn making it perfect for all kinds of projects.

Mini Glue Dots are my go to for embellishments and ribbon. I love them for their size, but also their strength. Use these for embellishments, die cuts, ribbon and more.

The last adhesive I’m going to talk about today are adhesive sheets. These are perfect for die cuts, detailed die cuts. You put this adhesive on your cardstock before cutting your pieces and then peel the backing off after you cut. Then simply apply the die cuts to a project. They’re amazing!
