I absolutely love the beach so when I saw the Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle in the Jan-June Mini Catalog, I knew that it was at the top of my list! Keep reading to see how I made this beautiful birthday card.
The Sand and Sea Suite is gorgeous and definitely my favorite suite in the new mini. The Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle has a whopping 23 photopolymer stamps and 6 coordinating dies AND a coordinating embossing folder that will emboss the die cut images!
Here you can really see the detail on that shell from the embossing folder.
For the card, I started with a base in Seaside Spray. I then embossed a layer of the same color using the Seashells 3D embossing folder.
I die cut my images on Basic White and then stamped. This is easy work photopolymer stamps as you can see all the way through.
The die doesn’t completely cut out the shells, but they are very easy to fussy cut. Just a few snips and they’re separated.
After I stamped the die cuts, I lined them up in the embossing folder and ran them through my machine. The detail in person is stunning!
I stamped my sentiment in Rococo Rose and die cut that with the Stitched Shapes dies. I layered it on a piece of Rococo Rose die cut with the Layering Ovals dies.
I finished the card by adding some Opal Rounds and a bit of Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon.
I hope you liked my card today! I definitely plan on using this bundle again and again.
