Tuesday Tip

Tip Tuesday- Watercoloring

Today’s Tuesday Tip is all about watercoloring! I love watercoloring because you don’t need a lot of supplies to create stunning pieces for your crafts. Keep reading to see what I mean.

To begin watercoloring, all you need are 3 things! A brush, ink and paper. I’ll be using a water painter, 3 different ink PADS and Whisper White cardstock.

I start by squeezing my ink pad to get some ink into the lid. I then run my water painter through it to get it good and watery.

From there, you just put ink to paper. I wet my cardstock slightly first so the ink runs a bit. I then just go over it with different colors and blend them together. I’ll admit, it’s not the prettiest at first.

After the cardstock dries, I use die cuts to cut out shapes. For these cards, I chose snowflakes.

I just love the look! I also die cut the circles from my watercolored cardstock. So pretty!

I hope you found my Tip Tuesday useful today! I’d love to see what you create with watercoloring. Feel free to send me pictures on my Facebook page!
