Throwback Thursday- Bird Ballad

Happy Thanksgiving! However you’re celebrating today, I hope you and your loved ones are happy and healthy.

Today’s Throwback uses a mix of current and retired products. Keep reading to see which ones!

The first thing I did was decided on my colors. I chose a Petal Pink card base to coordinate with the retired Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.

The Free As A Bird stamp set is still current! I stamped my birds in Memento ink and colored them using Blends. I used: Balmy Blue, Petal Pink, Soft Suede and Granny Apple Green.

I then used the also current, Layering Circles and Stitched Shapes dies to die cut the birds.

I stamped my greeting from the set in Memento ink and punch cut it using the retired 1¾” x ⅞” Oval Punch. I added a Petal Pink Rhinestone to it. Then I triple wrapped some Silver & Petal Pink Bakers Twine and tied a knot.
