Poinsettia Petals Card Swap

I recently participated in a Christmas themed card swap. A card swap is where you make a set number of cards, send them to the host and then receive cards in return. I usually get great inspiration from them! Keep reading to see how I made my swap card.

For this swap, I made 12 cards and they had to be all the same design. I thought the Poinsettia Petals Bundle would be perfect for this!

I started with Real Red and Whisper White cardstock. I also used Real Red and Shaded Spruce ink. I then cut a ½” strip of the beautiful Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.

I decided I would heat emboss the Poinsettia image using good emboss powder. I then made use of the die cuts in the set by cutting the leaves and center piece. I dry embossed my background using the Woodland Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the set in Real Red ink. I die cut it using my favorite die set, Tasteful Labels.

To finish the card, I added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels and stamped my inside panel.

Super simple, but a lot of work making 12! I hope you enjoyed my project today. To purchase some of the products I used, click the pictures below!
