Campology Card

I often have a hard time coming up with masculine cards. The Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog really has some great masculine sets this year. Campology is one of them. Keep reading to see how I made this card!

To start, I stamped the tent from the set onto a post it note to make a mask. Then I stamped the tree image onto Stampin Up’s water color paper with the tent “mask” in the center. I removed the mask and went over the paper with my water painters. I added a little Balmy Blue to the top for a sky. After the paper dried, I stamped the tent where the mask was and colored it using Stampin Blends. Do you see the cool “halo” effect?

I stamped the sentiment using Staz On. I then layered it onto a piece of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (which is 15% off this month! ) and added it to an Early Espresso base.

I hope you liked my card today! To purchase some of the products I used, click the links below.
