Country Home Card

Today’s card uses the Country Home set, another returning favorite to the annual catalog. I actually used the annual catalog to create this card by CASE’ing the card on page 88.

I started, as always, by laying out my cardstock. I used:

• Whisper White for base- 5¹/²” by 8¹/²” scored at 4¹/⁴”
• Crumb Cake- 5 ¹/⁴” by 4″
• Whisper White- 5″ by 3³/⁴”
• In Good Taste dsp- ³/⁴” by 3³/⁴”

Next I start coloring. I used the alcohol based Blends on the flowers and jug. I used:

• Flirty Flamingo
• Balmy Blue
• Daffodil Delight
• Granny Apple Green

I then fussy cut the flowers and jug and die cut the sentiment using the Tasteful Labels dies.

For the background, I free hand stamped the image. The Stamparatus would be perfect for this set, but I don’t have one….yet.

Then I used a few dimensionals on the jug and stuck everything else down with Seal, added a few pearls and that’s it! Quick and easy.
